Meet Ian
Future Motion Academy was created by Ian Banham to address the challenges he has witnessed throughout his career: talented Latin and Ballroom dancers developing exceptional abilities without always being shown how those skills can translate into sustainable professional opportunities.

Through his work as a teacher, choreographer and creative professional, Ian has seen how much potential exists within the competitive dance community and how frequently dancers require additional guidance, versatility and industry preparation before they can successfully move into theatre, television, film and wider commercial work.

Future Motion Academy brings those elements together within one focused programme.
Ian’s aim is not to move dancers away from the training that made them successful. It is to help them recognise its value, broaden their capabilities and understand how to build a professional future from it.
